Motion decorated with Silver in prestigious green awards

As Earth Day 2024 is launched, UK businesses from across the industrial spectrum have been celebrated by climate action platform, Ecologi, for their contribution towards the fight against global warming.  Motion has been awarded Silver in the For Our Planet initiative.

In order to compete, entrants are judged against rigorous criteria.  Motion demonstrated it had accurately measured and assessed its carbon footprint during 2023, and set targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.  It also evidenced support for a range of carbon-avoidance, carbon-removal and nature-based projects that all contribute towards a positive outcome for the planet.

Operations Manager, Jessica Bagnall, says, “Our pledge to drive down greenhouse gas emissions is well established.  However, it is particularly rewarding that the company’s commitment has been recognised with this award, and we’re proud to be part of a community of businesses who take climate action seriously.”
