A project to build student flats was completed in time for the start of the 2023 autumn term, helping to meet the needs of Leeds’ growing university population. The purpose-built student accommodation was developed by Alumno with support from Motion. All 411 units were fully occupied from the first day of operation.
A new mains drainage system will deliver a positive impact on a leisure park’s finances and environmental footprint. Swanley Park in Kent has decommissioned a large cesspit, following culmination of a seven-year plan to secure permission from several neighbouring landowners to lay mains drainage.
A 158-acre park will shortly be offering visitors enhanced facilities, from the moment they arrive at the site. The park’s trust has been granted planning consent to convert council-owned land into a new car park.
